Message from Principal Larkin

Blue Heron families,

We are nearing the end of the 2020-2021 school year and we are excited about the engaging learning and fun events that will fill our last few weeks. As we close out this school year, we are already planning for next year! The Blue Heron personnel committee has been busy the last few weeks screening and interviewing candidates for our vacant positions for next year. We are happy to introduce you to our newest Blue Heron team members, please see below to meet the team!

In partnership,

Annie Larkin

Field Day!

We are allowed to have field day this year! Mr. Bierzychudek has a wonderful day of events planned for our students. Field day for grades K-2 is on Thursday, May 13th and grades 3-5 is on Friday, May 14th. Due to COVID restrictions, parents are not allowed to attend this event. We are brainstorming creative ways to share pictures and videos of the day with families. Look for more detailed information coming soon!

News from the Art Room

CELEBRATING OUR ARTISTS
Here is what we have been up to in the art room. This slide show only shows a few of the things we have been working on. There will be more artists in our May slide show, along with the 5 students who made it into the Jefferson County Elementary District Art Show. Click HERE to see who made it into the slide show.

ART STUDENT WINNERS
An art student winner is someone who shows integrity, owns their learning, are responsible and respectful. Click HERE to see the slide show! The wings were inspired by the artist, Kelsey Montague and the feathers were created by students and staff. You can find Kelsey's wings in downtown Littleton, by the ice cream shop. Her hashtag is #whatliftsyou. Congratulations Blue Heron Students!

Community Shout Out

We would like to give a huge SHOUT OUT to Michelle Silk for organizing the golf tournament for Blue Heron! Thank you to all of the golfers who plan to participate, it will be a fun event. Thank you, Michelle for all of your hard work!
